I actively pursued additional funds promoting and supporting our County’s Agricultural Reserve and agricultural industry which has 577 farms, 350 horticultural enterprises and contributes over $250 million to the local economy.

I am the leading advocate for strategies to enhance agricultural preservation by restricting future water and sewer expansions and limiting the scope of large septic systems in the Ag Reserve – protecting from future development our valuable farm land.

I am leading efforts to provide further agricultural easements so current farm land continues to be farmed by future generations.
