Worked with state delegation and community to secure approval for opening of the Adventist Emergency Care Facility in Germantown; Led efforts to strengthen County’s fire and rescue service by establishing a county-wide Fire Chief and establishing clear lines of system-wide communication; Increased investment in public safety by increasing Fire and Rescue budget by $18 million, increasing Police budget by millions; Led efforts to establish new fire station in Clarksburg; Working with County agencies to accelerate the construction of Upcounty fire stations.
